Why Build Something?

On creating without asking for permission.

The Obsession With Scale

Everything today feels obsessed with scale β€” millions of users, massive reach, world-changing ideas.

But what about small problems? Personal ones? Weird, specific ideas that only matter to you?

How I Think About It

I mostly build things for myself.

If someone else finds them useful, that’s a bonus. If not, it’s still worth it.

Things I Build

  • Small tools to organize my routines
  • Apps that support my running and learning
  • Experiments that may never be finished

The Joy

There’s something freeing about building without pressure.

No metrics. No hype. No expectations.

Just curiosity. Just making things.

Build anyway.
